RAMS

Systems Engineering is an interdisciplinary process that ensures that the customer's needs are satisfied throughout a system's entire life cycle.  PAI focuses on applying creative solutions to transportation challenges, ensuring the choice of an appropriate technology to meet the requirements of each particular transportation situation.  We bring “hands-on” experience from having designed, manufactured, developed, tested and installed complete transit systems.

The PAI team has experience in the application of the following technologies:

1.             Automated system design (driverless)

2.             Maglev vehicles

3.             Personal Rapid Transit system design and development

4.             AC propulsion (including linear motors)

5.             Rubber tired vehicles

6.             Advanced bogie design (including steerable axles)

In support of your Systems Engineering work, PAI can prepare:

1.             EMC Plans and Analysis

2.             System Safety Program Plans

3.             Reliability Plans and Analysis

4.             Software Management Plans

5.             Maintainability Plans and Analysis

6.             Operation Plans

7.             Quality Assurance Plans

8.             Test Plans and Procedures

9.             Maintenance Plans

10.         Design Document and Test Procedure Review

In these projects, PAI has been an active contributor to the system design and operation.  This has included taking the lead role or supporting the Systems Designer in the Design Reviews with the Transit Authority and its consultants.
